Sandy Paws is in Sutton on Sea on the Lincolnshire coast. Sutton on Sea is a traditional seaside village with none of the commercialisation of it's neighbouring coastal towns. It's described as a bit of a 'hidden gem'.
The promenade runs for miles in both directions and is level and easily accessible. The beach is sandy and, apart from some summer dog restrictions in the section closest to the village, is dog friendly all year round. There are beach huts for hire on the promenade too!

Alford is a few miles inland and has a weekly market, craft market, museum and quirky shops.
The coast & country trail runs past Sutton on Sea & is clearly marked at points along the promenade. Cycles are available to hire from a local business, please ask for details.
There's a donkey sanctuary in nearby Huttoft & a and seal sanctuary in Mablethorpe.
The Loewen Cinema is a small, independent cinema in Mablethorpe & shows a good range of current films. Bargain prices too!
Donna Nook, north of Sutton on Sea, has the largest seal colony in the UK. Occasionally you'll see seals and their pups on the local beach but if you really want to see a spectacle, every winter you can visit Donna Nook and see the thousands of seals and pups being born.
